MS Excel 2000 formulae

I need to obtain a formula for Excel to calc the number of mon-fri days an advert has been posted out for. So for eg. I advertise the sale of an item on 22 Jan the close date is 31st Jan but the item is actually sold 27th Jan. I then need to know how many days it took to sell (but I want to exclude Sat & Sun from the calc.)
Someone is smart enough to know this!

The Analysis Toolpack, which is NOT installed by default, has this function:

=NETWORKDAYS(C4,D4)

where C4 contains the start date and D4 the end date.
