Just finishing off setting up my cousins new Toshiba laptop and have come across a strange problem. Toshiba sateillite, 120gb hdd, 15.1" screen, XP, dvd read/writer & 1 gb memory.

The DVD will not read MicroSoft disks, I've tried 2, office and works9. but it will read data disks photos etc...

I'm stumped for ideas..any help gratefully received..
