MS Access

I have MS Access on my home computer, but I was wondering if I would be able to put it on my laptop.

I don't have the disk for MS Office anymore as it is the 2003 version. Also, I already have the office applications on my laptop, minus access and so only want access putting onto my laptop.

Any ideas?

If you don't have the installation disk for Access, transferring it is going to be pretty near impossible. It's not just a case of copying over the program files as the installation routine makes changes in the registry and without these it's not going to work. manually finding and duplicating all Access registry entries will be very difficult, if it can be done at all.

You could try the OpenOffice 2 suite as it has a database that's capable of using Access tables, even if it can't open Access forms and Queries. Not as easy to use, but workable and free.
