MPEG Conversion

as I was upgrading my harddrive I saved some video files onto a CDRW disk. The problem that I now have is that the size of the display format of these video clips has changed from being a horizontal rectangle to a verticle rectangle and is therefore show the clips out of shape. Does any know how I can change the format back to the way it was. I have access to Pinnacle studio Version 1.06, Uleads Media Studio and of course Windows XP video editor.

SmiffyRebel, if you are using the same software to open the MPEG files it should thearetically open them as was. Try opening one of them with a different piece of software, change the file extension and see if that will then open them the way you require.
