hi all

i have downloaded some mp3's and when i burn them to disk (cd) my problem starts. I cant play them on my stereo cd player. Its a Denon stereo system, about 10 years old now, but when i have listened to other cd's that i have burnt my mp3's to i have never had a problem?

am i being thick? i use windows media player 11 to rip and burn my music?

many thanks

Make sure you are burning an Audio CD and not an MP3 cd. Your Denon player will almost certainly not be able to play mp3 due to being 10 years old. When you burn an audio CD you PC converts the mp3 into a file that your CD player can read. I am in work at the minute so can't check to see how win media player works as I use Nero or itunes. SO I would check to see in the win media player options what type of CD you are burning.
