I have heard of a file sharing program called MP3 Rocket Pro and have been assured it is legal but I am wary of using it until I get confirmation of this from someone in the know especially in light of all the legal problems going on with the likes of Limewire etc at the mo. Apparently you have to pay a membership fee to use it. Anybody know anything about it??

Seems like it might be Limewire with a jazzy name!

All depends on what it does.

If it will give you copyrighted music for nothing, then chances are the mp3s you will get are illegally gained.

Like all filesharing utilities it will be legal; the use it is put to can be illegal.

It's not the program that's illegal. It's what you do with it that might be.

Plus, McAfee Site Adviser warns against visiting sites associated with this program. It cites misleading claims, records of such sites being reported and which deluge registrees with spam.

Don't touch it with a barge pole.

If you want to keep legal, go to iTunes or similar.

There's no such thing as a free lunch!
