MP3 Player will not install

My son has bought an a cheap MP3 player (Play Pro 1GB). It a USB2 Plug n Play flash drive number. Our HP laptop, running XP Home SP2, will not install it as a removeable drive. The Found New Hardware wizard appears but the process cannot find the relevant drivers. I have run SFC /Scannow and I have also tried the wizard with the OS disk in the Cd drive but to no avail. I tried it on my work laptop (XP Pro)and it installed ok.

The family uses a couple of Creative players and an Ipod Mini and they all work fine.

What can I try next? Is there somewhere I can get hold of some generic USB drivers for flash drives? Is it possible to copy the drivers from my work laptop to home laptop and if so where would I locate them?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
