I am thinking of buying my son an mp3 player (make unknown as of yet) for Christmas. My question is, if I convert cd's into mp3's using my Sonic RecordNow Deluxe and save them to a folder on my hard drive will I be able to drag the files over to the mp3 player when it's plugged into my USB port. I would prefer to do it this way as I don't want to load all the associated software that comes with it if at all possible.

I'm using XP sp2

Cheers Chris.

yes......it will be shown as a removable disk! by the way if the mp3 player is compatible you may be able to use windows media player to convert the CD into .WMA files, if possible you can store a lot more songs onto the mp3 player!

hope im helpful!

Nathan.
