hi my daughter bought an mp3 player from tescos (256mb)she has'nt used it for a while now it wont turn on any advice on what may be problem
new battery installed
its a tecknika mp3 player

If she left the battery in it "for a while" it may have leaked or corroded the contacts. When you connect it to the computer is it recognised? If not that might give you a clue.

Further to Taffs post, clean those battery contacts with a cotton bud and some WD40 on it. If in any doubt give them a very light rub with fine abrasive paper.

hi thanks to all for help
latest on player when i plug it in its recognized and it plays song i put on it when i try to format mp3 player it says
not detected removable disc check disc connecting or reboot which ive done to no avail
