MP3 player

I have been using Napster to download mp3s, not as a subsribed user but registered to download and pay 79p per track as and when. In other words I dont have to pay a monthly fee.

Well, today I bought a Napa 256 mp3 portable player and have tried to copy these Napster mp3 files to it but have had no luck, it says that licensing restrictions prohibit me from doing so. But surely if I've already paid for the music I can copy them to my Napa?

If not, can anyone recomment software which IS compatible with Napa, even P2P?

you can only use the music on your PC becuase license issue

one cheat way (I only talk about technical issue, mot legal issue) is to burn your music files on Cd and then rip music from CD as unprotected mp3 files

I must say that kind of issue is why I buy my music in old-fashioned CD form so that I can rip it in my preferred format and put it on my preferred music player!
