mp3 files to cd

I have some comedy programs stored in mp3 format and would like to transfer them to cd still as mp3 to enable me to get as many as possible on one cd.
Could anyone help with any advice on how to do this ?
Do I need a program, if so which is best, free if possible of course.
Windows 98 s/e.
Adaptec direct cd & easy cd creator 4.
On attempting to use easy cd creator it converts from mp3.

Are you copying them as Data or Audio? i think if you copy as Audio it will change the file.

thank you for the replies Acolyte & bluesbrother.
I have found by experimenting that I can do this with the data part of the adaptec program that I already have.
