I'm trying to convert some MP3's into a "standard "file format so I can burn them onto a CD-R and play on a household hi-fi/car etc.

Which Audio file format should I convert to -Is it WAV ?

Also, can anyone suggest a good file convertor for this ?
I've used RealOnePlayer before, but it refuses to do the job lately despite reinstalling it!?

Have just downloaded JetAudio to see if that will do the trick but haven't had time to play yet !

Most new Hifi's will play them if they are MP3 format the normal audio extension for misic cd's is .cda
But as been said Nero and most burning software should do this for you.

Regards.
