I want to put all my music CDs onto 1 MP3 compilation, I've got a CDRW and NERO burning software, but can anyone tell me how I would go
about this?

I've heard that you can get about 10 hours worth of music onto 1 MP3 file, is this true?

Also would my hi-fi be able to play MP3s?

Just use Nero to make a DATA CD.
You can put up to about 10 hours of music onto a CD depending on the size of the files. Most hi-fi's can NOT play mp3's, apart from SOME very new ones. A DVD player CAN usually play them.
