Can any member advise me how to transfer M.P.3S from my hard drive to C.D.without converting them to wave files, and also how to rip from C.D. and convert to M.P.3 to deposit to my hard drive.

You can try Musicmatch but if you just want a ripper on it's own, my fave is Easy CD-DA Extractor which you can find at download.com. It's fast and fairly easy to use and has some nice features for the decerning music librarian.

If you have Nero or Easy CD Creator use them to burn the mp3s to audio.
