Try downloading an extension called FasterFox click here

Or FineTune Firefox from:

Firefox should load pages virtually immediately.

This is something I noted about Firefox.

Have just updated and Installed IE 7 which I find is faster, and personally I prefer it.

Take a look at this guide

I find as does everyone I have converted to it find firefox to be both faster and more efficient than anything else. Have you for a second considered the age of your computer maybe being a reason or spy/malware being involved?

I use Kerio from Sunbelt. You get a 30-day trial of the full version, then you buy, or it drops down to the free version - which is fine for home use. I tried Comodo just recently, but had problems (which may be because of external factors which just co-incided with the problems).

It's useful to get FF to clear it's browser cache when you close it down - look in the options.

Did you try the new IE 7 yet? If everything else on the PC loads fast and not Firefox then you can't blame the age of the PC.
