In issue 101 Jan 2004 helpline in your answer to a java question you recomended mpzilla firebird as a standalone browser so I downloaded same and find it a very good browser just one point installed on my machine is norton proffesional internet security when I use internet explorer norton antivirus is in evidence always but with mozilla it is'nt does this mean my pc is not protected when using this broeser

I would say that your pc is safer with FireBird than with IE - norton should be protecting the same as it would with IE, only it does not have the same integration with FireBird as with IE.
