Moving programs across a network

I have an installation of Microsoft Money on my old 98 machine that I would like to move to my new XP machine.

Both machines are on my network, so I was wondering if there is an easy way to do this without doing a fresh install to the XP machine and moving the relevant data files across to the XP machine.

Is there a freeware tool out there that will alow me to select what I want on the 98 machine and then transfer it across, while it makes all the necessary registry, shortcut etc. changes?

It is not an easy job - any programs that claim to do it have fallen by the board in the last few years. When XP came out, there were many but they are rarely heard of now.
