Am moving from XP to Vista 64bit and Office 2007 and need to move a large volume of outlook 2003 data files across. I know how to use the import/export process but think this might only be suitable for moving to a new computer with the same operating software. Can anyone offer assistance?

Store a copy of the Outlook 2003 .pst file.Once The 2007 version is installed replace the .pst from its chosen location with the 2003 version.
Alternatively go to Tools / Accounts Settings. On the e-mail tab select 'Change Folder' and point to the location of your 2003 .pst file. Then reopen outlook

Thank you for this prompt and helpful response. Will execute after the new build.
