I have an HP laptop Compaq nx9020. Of late it has been running slower and I’ve had problems with instability. I decided it was time to reinstall windows; my version is XP professional 2002 service pack 3 I however had placed all my software in a cupboard believing that it was in a safe place. I was unaware that the water pipe in the cupboard was a hot water pipe and it had slightly warped my XP Pro disc rendering it unusable. I decided it was time to install Windows 7 so I’ve purchased a copy. I decided to check all my programs before installing the operating system. It was however unable to read my Office professional edition 2003. Is there a way that I can save office from my hard drive to disc and have it set so that I can load it to my hard disc once I’ve loaded windows 7?

No you will need the installation files that are on the disc or download file.
