Moving OE6 DBX folders

I have purchased a new notebook and want to transfer certain business files from my desktop onto the new machine. Both are using OE6.

I located the folders for OE6 on my desktop and simply moved the dbx folders I wanted to a temporary location and burnt them onto a CD. I then deleted the folders from the folders list in OE6.

I now find that I cannot read from the cd into the OE on the new machine. All the folders are on the CD as .dbx files and I can copy them into the stored folders area of the new machine's OE6 folders. However, I cannot read them into OE. I've tried importing but this won't find the DBX files on either the CD or in the stored folders area. Can anyone help please?

Whne you copy them from the CD, do you need to remove the real only attribute of each file?

click here for a utility to automatically do that.
