Dumping old Compaq running Mil 2000 for Mesh matrix 64.
1.Have 200 photos on Compaq in Olympus Camedia 4.2.
Can't find a way to save the photos ready to transfer.

2. How do we transfer the old Norton A V programme which has been updated on the net?

Not keen on linking the 2.

Put your old hard drive into your new computer as a slave HD

a) Your Compaq will have an EIDE or U-ATA hard drive whereas a new MESH Matrix 64 will probably have a Serial ATA (SATA) hard disk. I think these have different cable connectors to EIDE.

1) Use Windows Explorer to look for a folder probably called C:\Olympus or C:\Camedia which will have sub folders with your photos. Copy that off to a CD-R if you have one. Or to a USB Flash-drive or pen-drive as they are also known, if you have one.

2) Old Norton A/V. This will have to be reinstalled to work. What version have you got?
