For some reason I can't move the cursor in excel 2007, using the arrow keys. Also the cursor stays obstinately in the same cell after I have written something, instead of jumping to the next cell. Any ideas what is wrong? I have looked at click here and it doesn't help.

Check the 'Scroll Lock' key isn't enabled.

Try another keyboard if you have one, that would be a starting point.

Have you 'entered' the value in the cell?

Check in the Office Button, Excel Options, Advanced. You can decide where you want the next entry to go - down, up, left or right. Sorry if I've misunderstood your problem.

Sorry, I forgot to thank you for your replies. I think that csqwared had the answer. At any rate, it works now.
