Hi, I have a Hp dm4-2000eo and it is jsut a couple of weeks old. During these 2-3 weeks I have had it, the mousepad has at three different occasions just stopped working, it stops moving and Í cannot click anything with it. When Irestart the laptop the mousepad starts working normally again. What can that be and what should I do? Is it something I can fix myself or do I have to go back into store so they can send it into a service center?

It may be a corrupted driver. If so:-

Go to 'Device Manager'

Find your mouse or touchpad in the list and uninstall it by right clicking.

Restart the computer.

The device will reinstall itself automatically as the computer restarts.

p.s. If you're not sure where the Device Manager is, then type it into Start > 'Help and Support.'
