Recently I have been getting the following message come up on my computer which is running Windows 2000.

Access violation at address 0043EF71 in module 'MOUSE32A.EXE'. Write of address8BD88BF2

Does anyone know what this message means and how I can resolve it. The mouse is a wireless mouse.

I would suggest that the mouse drivers are conflicting with something else on your system...perhaps you have just installed some hardware?...

Re-install the mouse software, and that should sort it..

Failing that, remove the mouse from Start/Settings/Control Panel/Device Manager..

When you re-boot the system will find the mouse and re-install it..

Will check back tomorrow...
