Intermittently my usb mouse stops working. In device manager I select the USB and look in the properties. And under power management unclick "allow computer to turn off". The problem seems only to occur when surfing youtube, strange or what!

Maybe you have lack of resources. How many items do you have by the clock? All you basically need by the clock is, antivirus, computer screen for your connection maybe, firewall if you have one installed maybe, all the rest can basically go.
1) click start
2) xp click run or vista & win 7 type run then look up and see the run logo.
3) type in msconfig then start up tab and delete all the rubbish you don't need. remember that this does not delete software, just whats in the start up, so if you wish to start msn manually, then why have it listed in the start up. You can also do all of this & more using ccleaner>>> CCleaner (slim version, No toolbars) click here
