You could try updating the mouse driver in Device Manager. If it doesn't work for you then you can use Rollback.

There is no way to "calibrate" a mouse. When you used Device Manager did you choose "Browse my computer for driver software" ?

Alternatively search for driver for your particular mouse. If you type "mouse drivers" and then the type of computer you have and the OS into google, or better yet the type of mouse as well, you'll probably find the drivers to download.

If/when you find the correct driver, download, uninstall the currently installed driver and then proceed to install the newly downloaded driver.

Also try giving the mouse a good clean underneath where it make contact.

Failing that you may need to replace your mouse, not a big expense these days.
