Hi clever people!
I've had this problem with my system (since the dawn of time) which is not particularly bad, but it's pretty annoying!
Every so often, as in minutes (not months), my mouse freezes for about 3-4 seconds (whilst Windows XP makes a glotal 'Gigung guging' sound, then resumes normal action.
I've been told that it's something to do with Windows XP Pro checking the status of a USB device, or 'polling'. I've tried removing (safely of course!) all USB devices and yet this occurance continues.
Your help would be much appreciated!
P.s. Whether it's of any assistance, I've reported the matter previously, and 'resolved' it, however even when unused USB deviced were unplugged, the event continues.
