Mouse gone haywire

  toothwright 19:45 09 Jun 03

My mouse (Logitech optical) has just developed a mind of its own - keeps disappearing to the top right hand corner of the screen and refuses to go anywhere near the left hand of the screen.
Have tried the following :
System restore -
A different mouse -
Unistalling and reinstalling mouse -

All to no avail.
Seems to work OK in safe mode
Running XP Home SP1 on KT7A
Athlon 1.1, 512 RAM

Any suggestions would be most welcome

Problem sorted

After practically dismantling the damn machine I discovered that it was the graphics tablet pen that was out of its holder and over the F12 pad on the tablet - thus over-riding the rodent.

Oh well - you live and learn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Owners of graphic tablets take note!!!!!!
