Mouse button options

Ihave a PC running XP Pro SP3 and the mouse behaves differently to others I've used.
With an Explorer window open, just hovering the mouse over any of the files "Turns it Blue", one left click opens it.
similarly, if selecting a group of files, it's sufficient to just hover over the first one, then press "shift" and left click over the last, to highlight them all.

I seem to recall that there is an option ...somewhere, to have the left mouse button open Files/Folders with one click, and I assume that is what is activated but I can't find it anywhere to "un-select" it.
Any one know where it is! :-)

OK, whilst typing that, the little grey cells were bumping together, (both of them!) and I realised that it's Under Tools > Folder Options!!

Sorry to have bothered y'all !
