MOTHERBOARD/MEMORY PROBLEMS

I have recently purchased an EPOX-8RGA+ motherboard. I installed a TwinMOS 512MB DDR PC3200 memory stick. The machine kept craching. After discussing the problem with the company I brought them from I was told they believed there was a problem with PC3200 mem and that if I installed lowere speed mem things should work finr. I then installed 2*256 DDR PC2100 and all works fine. I am unable to get a sensible reply from EPOX except "there may be incompatabilty with certain types of memory". Can anyone help at all?

Is your Epox mobo compatable with DDR 3200 memory? If so there must be a conflict, check the EPOX website and get memory brand that they say is compatable and works.

If you go to the crucial site it will tell you what memory you should use. This is the memory that you can use on your board click here
