Motherboard wont let me use other PCI slots

I updated the bios on my D945GNT Intel m/board. I am running an x850 graphics card PCIexpress and it takes up 2 spaces in the case (ity uses a blank slo9t for the exhaust).. So I always used to place my ZS Soundblaster in the 3rd of the 3 pci slots (furthest away from centre). This has always been fine.

Since the bios upgrade, the board won't detect my soundblaster in any slot apart from the first. This is a problem as it only leaves a screw heads depth between that and the hot X850.

Please can you help me get my card working in slots 2 or 3 on the board?

Check BIOS for asign IRQ settings to PCI slots.

soundblaster probably uses IRQ 5

With it working in the only PCI slot that works-

PCI Slot 2 (PCI bus 5, device 1, function 0)

Any ideas?

Check you have the latest drivers for your motherboard especially the PCI BUS drivers.
