Hi i am a sort of pc novice so if i sound like i am talking crap it aint my fault!
I have a Gigabyte GA-BX2000 motherboard with a 550mhz PIII processor, 512MB of SDRAM, An 160GB eide hard drive, A Nvidia Geforce FX 5200 AGP 8x Graphics card and the usual etc. I am looking everywhere for a good motherboard upgrdae from my old, crap, useless one! I was wondering if anyone here could help me find one. Price doesnt matter but, it has to have at least AGP 8x support, SDRAM slots, Pentium III support (I am thinking of upgrading but not right now ) Also def has to have eide support as my hardrive and dvd burners all run on this. Thanks for whoever reads this and helps me out! i would be truely greatful!
p.s. also should have atx support for all cases!
Cheers

I really don't think that a new mobo will do much for you until you also get a new processor - why not go for a new mobo bundle such as from Novatech - for £105 you can get a Semperon 2600; 256mb RAM and decent enough motherboard.

You will be losing out the use of the RAM that you have now but with a new processor, that will have to go anyway.

Yes, it has AGP 8 and eide compatibility.

Click on the link above; my current pc is based on one of those deals (athlon 64 3000) and came in at less than £200 plus a new case.
