Motherboard Sizes

I have a Intel 810 Socket 370 Mobo in case. I plan to update mobo with something a bit more recent but am unsure whether a different type will fit in the case? Is there any guidelines out there?

The system you have may well be a Micro ATX size. Measure the motherboard. It should be about 24.4cm x 23.2cm. The case is likely to be micro atx as well. Ensure any replacement mobo is the same size

You will need to check the power supply unit, as modern mobos may well need more power than your existing

It may be worth checking a motherboard bundle or bare bones system from click here A new case with psu included can be had for around £25

Your board is a micro atx, if your case has 5 or more slots on the back it will take a full size atx board.
