motherboard jumpers

to have a jumper set as "on" i presuime that it has to bridge both the pins, and for it to be off then it is moved so as only sitting on 1 of the 2 pins so it looks like it is sitting to the one side?
thats how i read the manual anyway. if so then my jumpers are set for a P3 400 rather than a 500.

tis an old Tiny P3 500 win 98, had it opened up today balasting the dust out it when i noticed the jumpers for the 1st time in 4 yrs, downloaded the mobo manual was reading through when i noticed this slight diffenece, and i thought that maybe i aint gettin all the performance which i should be gettin from the procesor
