I have just purchased an MSI Delta Kt6 Motherboard, and found in the instructions that there is two power sockets, one is the main power supply socket and the other is a 12v power supply socket that powes the CPU. Does anyone know whether or not I connect both of these power supplies or should I only plug in the main one? I have an AMD Athlon 2000XP processor if that is any use to anyone. Thank you for your time and help,
Matt

Yes, you connect both sockets.

You should have a square, four pin, plug for the CPU, and a multipin for the motherboard.
