MotherBoard Dosent Like my CD-RW

I have just brought a new CD-RW for my PC and when i boot up it says something along the lines of this message: "The IDE drive inserted is not compatible" even though in every other computer i have tried it in it works. I have set the jumpers to all the set position and it still dosent work. What could the problem be?

Check in your BIOS - on the setup page for the drives set the CD Writer interface to Auto-detect.
I'd advise putting it as the Master on the secondary IDE interface (assuming it's an IDE drive). Jumper the drive as Master on the back.
