motherboard bios help

Can anyone shed some light on this,I have a Packard Bell i-media 4053 with a Gigabyte GA 8SMIL rev 1.0 motherboard installed.
All the information I can find says its a P4 socket478 board, but it's running a Celeron 1.8ghz. Gigabytes website shows the bios screens but none of these look like the bios screens I get, have Packerd used their own bios? and how can I get round this in order to overclock? I've tried gigabytes easy tune 3 but it doesn't recognise the board bios which makes me think Packard have use their own version

Or maybe I could upgrade the cpu? Can I fit a P4 straight in? Any sugestions as to which way too go and what speed cpu I can fit?

Anyone out there help?

If you go to click here and download their Advisor program, this should tell you exactly what motherboard and BIOS you have.
