Adaware found a file dotnet_33.dll which i take to be spyware, couldnt delete it cos it was running. I re ran my system in safe mode to delete the file and it wont allow me to connect to the net anymore. I had to restore to bring back my internet along with said file... Any ideas?
Cheers

Download process Viewer click here Highlight dotnet32.dll. From dropdown menu select kill. This will stop it running and you can then run find to locate it and delete it.

The only way to safely remove Newdotnet without messing up your internet connection is to go to add/remove programs and uninstall it from there. If it isn't there or you are having problems then the nice people at Newdotnet have provided removal instructions, about halfway down the page click here I wish all purveyors of spyware were as generous!! :)
