I have Gateway VX720 monitor.
The monitors fine, but I can't get it to go into stand by mode.

On the PC it was shipped with its fine.
On the one I'm using at the moment I just get a message saying this monitor is working correctly.
With the old system when it went into stand bye mode the on off button changed to orange. With the new system it stays green.

Its an Intel MB etc with XP Pro

Any Ideas.

"With the new system it stays green"

You mean it stays on with a picture showing - or the picture goes off but the loight stays green - or what - can you describe in detail please.

The set-ups for what the monitor does are in the BIOS and in the Power Options in Control Panel.

are there any settings I can change on the monitor?
