My monitor shuts down after a period of time when it has not been used. I know that there is a way this can be turned off IE the monitor will stay on indefinitely. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

Start, Control Panel, Power Options.

Evening Vog, how are you mate and thank you for your prompt response. Followed your instructions and set everything to "never turn off" In your opinion is that the correct thing to do?

There will be no problem with what you have done. I have a new system and I've set it to turn off after one hour. Do what best suits your needs.
