I've got a friend having trouble with his monitor .It switches off every 23 minutes. I've suggested power management and he's looked into that without any success. At present he has to reboot the computer every 23 minutes to keep going! Anyone got any ideas?

Sorry about this my friend is not responding I'll chase him up for the info. I'm fairly sure he has windows 2000.

Thanks Stalion for your efforts to help in this case. The OS is Windows 98 infact, but it seems that it's the monitor thats gone wrong because my friend has tried another monitor on his computer and that works fine. It seems to me that it would not be worth his while to try and get it fixed as he could get a new CRT one for about £75 and it might cost that or more to get the old one fixed.
