Hi All,I have a compaq presario with a screen that resembles an hour glass have d/loaded all the latest drivers,and tried various forums to correct this with no joy.Can anyone help.TIA.

do you have the standard moniter that comes with the compac with the menu + - exit buttons on the front

right press menu once push the + button 7 times till it gets topincushion then press menu again so it goes green then - to adust pic out to fit moniter mine is set to 27

wee eddie tried that route no magnets.surfmonkey according to info on screen settings are 1024x768.

can you get haold of another moniter to test weather its the compaq moniter or not

oh just remembered there is a rest in the menu on your moniter have you tryed it

surfmonkey have just connected up to my daughters monitor,and all is fine,it is out of warranty but have just "acquired" a replacement for a nominal outlay from work.Thanks to yourself and all who have responded.
