My monitor has for the last few weeks started to suddenly switch it self off, then a little window comes up with this on it,

00.0KHs/250.0 Hz

Frequency out of range

Try other resolutions.

My monitor is a Proview 786N.
Graphics card Radion 7000.
Can any body give a reason why?
Thanks in advance.

Your resolution settings may be too high. Try right-clicking the desktop, choose properties, then left click on settings. Try adjusting your
resolution gradually. Good luck. Also you can try the manufacturers website for troubleshooting.

Thanks for your input, it’s on the manufacturers setting of 1024x768/85Hz, it only closes down about once a week, apart from that it’s O.K., I will try the manufacturers web site, but I thought I’d came to the fountain of knowledge first.
