monitor out of range

We have installed an NVIDA motherboard and 3d Phantom graphics card.we reformated and reinstalled 98se on hard drive.
The (Sampo) monitor now displays out of range and the graphics are wrong!! have installed driver we think is correct (SiS 315E

ANY help is appreciated

RE-boot start in safe mode (by pressing F8 repeatedly) whilst booting.
Now go to control panel display settings, and alter refresh rate to no more than 85hz, also set resolution to 800 x 600 this should get you going.

Can you right-click on the desktop, selet Properties & change screen resolution colour from there? You say SiS drivers - perhaps these could be for on-board graphics which should be disabled anyway (BIOS settings). Have you installed drivers for the Phantom card from the suppled CD?
