Sometimes it shows the windows logo an the no signal

  1. check cable has no bent or damaged pins and is fully connected at PC and monitor, if possible try another cable. Retry

  2. switch off and open the PC. remove and refit the graphics card. Retry.

Cables are all perfect. Now i'm gonna try removing the graphic card.

From that I assume it connect straight to the motherboard.

LAptop or desktop?

what op system?

can you start it in safemode ( tap f8 as you power on)?

  RudraPaliwal 15:47 09 Feb 15

desktop, windows 7, only in low resolution settings(after tapping f8 key on startup)

Fine so the monitor is working

Its a problem with the display settings when in windows

Try uninstalling the graphics display driver while in safemode

reboot the machine and windows should reinstall the driver you can then adjust the settings to your liking.

no driver installation process was there.Ihad to download the driver while in low resolution mode and then installed and rebooted the pc but same problem.

should i get it checked by a computer expert??
