Monitor Drivers for vista

  Nessie 14:19 12 Dec 08

Have just installed vista ultimate and have a IIyama E431S. Have downloaded the drivers and extracted them. Even though vista only loaded up a default driver it keeps saying that the current one in more up to date. Image etc is fine but did want to put proper drivers on. Any ideas

Nearly all modern monitors do not require a driver as such. The job is dealt with via today's graphics cards.

If you work in cad or a photographic environment, then you might need to download a colour profile for your monitor. If all is well with image and refresh rates, then I'd be inclined to let Vista take care of things.
