Modem Router set up problems

  Binzy 16:21 08 Oct 06

I want to set up a wireless connection using a modem router and HOMEPLUGS but I can't set up the router.

I have a KLS-5810 Wireless ADSL modem router and my broadband connection (with Orange) is via a USB port on my computer

On the set up instructions for the router it tells me to "connect the supplied ADSL cable from the WAN port on the KLS-5810 (the RJ11 connector) to the ADSL terminator provided by your ISP". I assume the terminator is the ADSL filter and not the "speedtouch box".

If I do this my internet connection is instantly broken so I can't continue with the set up as it can't detect the required information.

HELP! please.
