I am a amature to Linux Mandrake 9. I am having problems installing a driver for my Conexant RS56-PCI -- that being the chipset. I looked on the Mandrake Linux Website which duely sends me to download the HSF modem driver. I have downloaded "hsflinmodem-5.03.27mbsibeta02122600k2.4.19_19mdk-1mdk.i586.rpm" file onto my pc by double clicking the file withing the floppy drive which then brings up a istallation box and I install it. But!! it still does not recognise the modem what do i need to do
