Nintendo Switch review: Hands-on with the intuitive modular console and its disappointing games…
Over the past couple of weeks ive had many problems with my ISDN the latest is by far the most baffling.
when trying to connect via my pci isdn adapter to my freecall number im presented with an error
"Error 651 : the modem (or other connecting device) has reported an error" however if i use my 0845 number i can connect ? ive rang my isp and they cannot give me an answer and say this is down to my modem ive tried deleting the connections and creating them again but still get the same problem.the adapter im using is a U.S Robotics ISDN pci card with windows xp operating system if anyone can help your a life saver as connecting at 128k on pay as u go is expensive.
To configure ISDN settings
Open Network Connections.
Select the dial-up connection that uses ISDN, and then, under Network Tasks, click Change settings of this connection.
On the General tab, in Connect using, click the ISDN device, and then click Configure.
In the ISDN Configure dialog box, do one or both of the following:
In Line type, click the line type you want to use. The line types are listed from highest to lowest quality.
If you want to start negotiation with the line type you selected, and then negotiate with a lower-quality line type depending on the line's condition, select the Negotiate line type check box.
To open Network Connections, click Start, click Control Panel, click Network and Internet Connections, and then click Network Connections.
Depending on the type of ISDN adapter that you are using, when you click Configure in step 3, you may be presented with Modem Configuration settings.
