I am running a Belkin mimo wireless modem/router,the sig is not to hot on the top floor.I tried to connected a modem to the top floor pc but the modems clash. Each one will work,if I remove the phone line, they will not work together.
Can some one tell me were I am going wrong,

As far as I know you can only have one modem/router connected to a broadband line. Sounds like you are trying to use two at the same time.

Mimo is meant to have good range but don't know how far from router the top floor is. Unless you find a compatible extender you would have to drop speed down to 54MB nominal, but that may not be a noticable difference.

The aerials on the wireless router may have a radiation pattern that is weaker vertically. Have you tried tipping the router to tranmit in the direction towards your pc.

Sorry "tranmit" was meant to be "transmit"
